Holly Lawson is the reclamation specialist for Rosemont Copper. Holly was born and raised in Tucson, where she attended the University of Arizona and earned her Bachelor of Science in ecology & evolutionary biology. She worked as a research assistant in plant ecology and plant physiology labs and conductedresearch projects on desert winter annuals. In January 2009, Holly was hired by Rosemont Copper as a reclamation technician and began graduate studies. Holly earned her master’s degree at the U of A in the School of Natural Resources in August 2011. The Rosemont Copper reclamation test plots were her thesis project and she is looking forward to continue research on techniques to best reclaim minelands in the Southwest.
